1. What We Collect

When you use TradeSeal, we collect:

  • Account information: email address, username, display name, profile photo
  • Trading data you choose to import (P&L, instruments, trade timestamps)
  • Content you post: trade notes, comments, reactions
  • Basic usage data: pages visited, actions taken within the app

2. How We Use It

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the TradeSeal platform
  • Display your verified trading performance to other users (based on your visibility settings)
  • Calculate verification tiers and achievement badges
  • Send account-related emails (confirmations, password resets)
  • Improve the platform during beta

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security) and hosted on Vercel. Both services comply with industry-standard security practices. Data is stored in US-based data centers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Trading performance data is only shared with other users according to your visibility settings. We do not share your email address or private account details with third parties.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed. Some anonymized aggregate data (e.g., leaderboard history) may be retained. You can also request a copy of your data by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use cookies solely for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Browser Extension

The optional TradeSeal browser extension imports your verified trade history from supported prop-firm dashboards (TopstepX, MyFundedFutures, Alpha Futures, Lucid Trading) into your TradeSeal account. It:

  • Never sees or stores your broker login credentials — it only observes the trade data the dashboard already loads while you are signed in, on your action.
  • Stores only your personal TradeSeal sync token and sync state locally in the browser (chrome.storage).
  • Sends the normalized trade rows to TradeSeal under your own token — the same data covered by sections 1–4 above. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
